Rick Santourm has picked the right time to surge, but it wasn’t enough to topple Ron Paul who finished in first again with 1,051 votes (18%). Santourm finished 990 votes (17%).
Newt Gingrich fell from the last Straw Poll, but still managed a very close third place with 957 votes (17%).
The race stayed close all the way down the line with Mitt Romney at 16% and Rick Perry at 15%. Even Jon Huntsman and Michele Bachmann finished with a respectable 9% and 8% respectively.

I believe in Ron Paul, because he is not a flip flopper, he says what he means and means what he says. He is not bought and paid for by any special interests, only interested voters who are tired of the BS in Washington. Why is it that the Federal Govt
has so much to parlay in $$$ when it comes to Congress, but the average Joe gets screwed, blued, and tattooed. Ron Paul is the real deal. Do you blame him for his foreign policy? Do you think he is stupid not to want a strong defense in the absence of another war involvement? Not a chance. He will collect the people of this country and form a new coalition of support, pride, and nationalism in this country that has never been seen before. He’s a not a simple man. He’s committed to morality, strong ideals, and keeping us free. If you want to be bound for four more years, after the likes of Obama, Romney will not be much better. He does not represent the Judeo Christian point of view, because he is not a Christian. Do your homework on what Mormons believe. Nothing radical, but non-the-less a maze of complex, untrustworthy
